NMA - Integrated Investigation System

The NMa’s statutory task is straightforward: ‘making markets work’. Businesses know that the NMa will take action against anti-competitive restrictions that inhibit their chances of success. Innovation and creative entrepreneurship result in new products and methods of production, thus stimulating competition, while also boosting the competitive force of businesses. This will prove conducive to the competitive power of the Dutch economy in general. Consumers stand to profit by an improved price/quality ratio and a wider choice of products. In a word, competition generates prosperity.
The Challenge
Nowadays, businesses have become more savvy in finding ways to avoid confrontations with the Netherlands Competition Authority. For the NMa an important reason to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their organizational structure, business processes and systems. Against the background of a merger between two NMa departments, Tensor performed a thorough business case studyaiming for an integrated system environment, providing the management of NMa with key information to make a sound decision in this area.
What opportunities do the NMa have within reach in order to realize effective planning and control and efficient business processes. What kind of integrated investigation system goes well with it.
Our Solution
Via interviews with (line-)management, workshops and presentations, a clear picture was created helping management of the NMa to confidently choose for the right direction and roadmap, realizing an integrated investigation system at the desired level.
